Questions? We’re here to help!
I think I might have a problem with drugs. What should I do?
The best place to start is a meeting. You don’t need an appointment, you don’t need to be “clean” first, and you don’t have to say anything if you don’t want to. Just show up, listen, and see if what you hear sounds familiar. If you’d rather talk to someone first, you can call our helpline and a member will be happy to talk with you.
Is what I say confidential?
Yes. Anonymity is one of the foundations of NA. What’s shared in meetings stays in meetings, and we don’t disclose who attends. This site and our contact methods are for general inquiries, not registration, so there’s no record of you as an NA member.
Do I have to be “clean” to come to a meeting?
No. Anyone with a desire to stop using is welcome, whether that’s your first day or your first thousand days. Many people attend their first meeting while still using. The only requirement for membership is the desire to stop.
How do I get in touch with someone from the area committee?
Email us a [email protected] for general questions, service inquiries, or website issues, and a committee member will respond. If you need to talk to someone right now, our helpline is staffed by members and is the fastest way to reach a real person.
